FOR RELEASE November 6, 2014
Media Contact: Colleen Jobe

The Cupcake Kids are pleased to announce that this year’s International Cupcake Kids Day will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2015.

About The Cupcake Kids:
For four years running, children and families around the world, have baked and sold cupcakes to raise awareness and funds for the imprisoned children of Africa. It all started when 6 year old Madeline came up with the idea of a fundraiser to bake cupcakes and sell them in her neighborhood. And since that time, it has blossomed into a community of generous individuals who bake cupcakes for the mission of Sixty Feet.

About International Cupcake Kids Day:
The International Cupcake Kids Day was created to rally a community of bakers to host the world’s largest cupcake sale benefiting the imprisoned children of Africa. This year, The Cupcake Kids have an audacious goal. They would like to see cupcake stands in every state and in countries around the world! They are also asking bakeries around the United States to stand alongside them in helping achieve their goal of raising $100,000 for work being done in Africa through the mission of Sixty Feet. 100% of the dollars raised through the International Cupcake Kids Day will go directly to helping the imprisoned children.
